Do I need to go through the checkout
process to receive the free downloads, and how do I download
them? Should I create an account before I download any of the free materials? Why do you offer these free downloads? Who pays for creating these downloads? What if I have an idea about certain materials and would like to help? |

No you do not need to go through checkout to receive the free downloadable materials. In many cases it is better if you don't do this particularly since we currently do not ship to every country. If you happen to reside in one of those countries and you try to go through checkout you will receive an error message stating that you cannot proceed with the checkout process because we do not service the country you reside in. To download the free items simply follow the steps below:

Should I create an account before I download any of the free
materials? Although you do not have to create an account, we highly recommend that you do. The reason being that from time to time we notify our registered customers of new items that we make available via our free downloadable pages, as well as special offers and news that might be helpful to you. |

Why do you offer these free downloads? ETC is a non-profit charitable educational organization under the IRS tax code of a 501(c)(3) organization. The free downloads is one of our efforts to support the educational community. |

Who pays for creating these free downloads? Even though we are a non-profit organization, the designers, artists, writers and proofreaders are not and they do require some type of compensation. Currently the majority of the expenses are paid by ETC from funds that we receive from the sale of our curriculum and other products we make available through our online store. From time to time we do receive private donations. Donations to ETC are 100% tax deductible. |

What if I have an idea about certain materials and would like to
help? One of our policies has always been to listen to our customers. If you have an idea about certain materials that you would like to see us develop and make available to the public please contact us at print@edutc.com. We will be happy to review your suggestions and look into the possibility of developing them into actual products.
